Itinerary
DAY 1 - ATHENS
Arrival in Athens and transfer with our English-speaking assistant to the hotel.
● Dinner and overnight stay in Athens.
DAY 2 - ATHENS - ACROPOLIS
Breakfast at the hotel and, at the indicated time, departure to visit
the Acropolis, the Propylaea, and the Erechtheion. From the
Acropolis, you will be able to observe the Areopagus (Mars Hill),
where Saint Paul delivered his first discourse to the Athenians.
The first Athenian Christian, Saint Dionysius the Areopagite, was
named in commemoration of this event.
In the evening, a walking tour of the most important sights in Plaka
and Monastiraki.

DAY 3 - ATHENS - CORINTH - ATHENSDAY 3 - ATHENS - CORINTH - ATHENS
Breakfast at the hotel and, at the indicated time, departure to visit

DAY 4 - ATHENS - DELPHI - METEORA
Breakfast and departure towards Delphi, where we will visit the
Delphi archaeological site, one of the most interesting in the world,
declared a World Heritage Site. Delphi is a natural enclave of
extraordinary beauty. It is the site of the famous Oracle of Delphi,
where the conical stone Omphalos (navel), which marked the
center of the world, was located. Delphi was a sacred precinct,
dedicated mainly to the god Apollo, and became the most
influential religious center of ancient Greece.
Departure towards Kalambaka. Free time for lunch in the area.
Arrival in Meteora, sunset tour of the monasteries, and transfer to
the hotel.

DAY 5 - METEORA – VEROIA – THESSALONIKI
Breakfast and departure to visit the Meteora monasteries. Meteora
is one of the most special places in the world. The monasteries we will visit are built on these rocks.
After the visit, departure towards Veroia, where the Apostle Paul
arrived fleeing from Thessaloniki after being persecuted by the
Jews. Highlights include the ancient walls and its unique Byzantineera churches. Free lunch in the area.
In the afternoon/evening, arrival in Thessaloniki and panoramic
tour of the Byzantine and Early Christian city. Transfer to the hotel.

DAY 6 - THESSALONIKI - PHILIPPI - THESSALONIKI
Breakfast and departure towards Kavala (formerly called Neapolis),
the place where Saint Paul, Timothy, and Silas disembarked on the
coast of Thrace.
We will visit Philippi, the site where Saint Paul lived, preached, and
was imprisoned, as well as the Baptistery of Lydia, where the first
baptism in European lands took place.
Free lunch in the area and return to the city in the afternoon.

DAY 7 - THESSALONIKI - ATHENS
Breakfast and, at the indicated time, departure back to Athens. Free lunch along the way.
Arrival in Athens and check-in at the hotel.
