Itinerary

Day 1: Tel Aviv - Ben Gurion Airport - Transfer to Hotel

Arrival at the airport, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 2: Caesarea - Haifa - Acre - Nazareth

Breakfast. Departure from Caesarea Maritima, the ancient Roman capital, where we will visit its theater, the Crusader fortress walls, and the Roman aqueduct. We will continue to Haifa, ascend Mount Carmel, where the Cave of Elijah is located, and admire the Bahá’í Temple and its Persian Gardens. We will enjoy a panoramic view of the city and the port. Continue to Acre, the Crusader capital, visiting the medieval fortresses. Arrival in Nazareth. Dinner and overnight stay included.

Day 3: Nazareth - Magdala - Mount of Beatitudes - Tabgha - Capernaum - Nazareth

Breakfast. We will begin the day with a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. We will continue to Magdala, where we will see the remains of the village and its synagogue, and visit the modern church. Later, we will visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where the Sermon on the Mount took place. We will then arrive at Tabgha, the site of the miracle of the loaves and fishes. We will visit Capernaum, where the House of St. Peter and the ruins of the ancient synagogue are located. Return to Nazareth. Dinner and overnight stay included. 

Day 4: Nazareth – Mount of Precipice – Cana of Galilee – Jordan River – Jerusalem.

Breakfast. In the morning, we will visit the city of Nazareth, including the Church of the Annunciation, St. Joseph’s Workshop, and the Fountain of the Virgin. Continue to Mount Precipice, from where we can admire a beautiful panoramic view of Nazareth and its surroundings. We will continue the day with a visit to Cana of Galilee, where Jesus performed his first miracle. In the afternoon, depart for Jerusalem through the Jordan River Valley, skirting the oasis of Jericho, where we will enjoy a panoramic view of the Mount of Temptation and the Dead Sea. Ascend through the Judean Desert and enter Jerusalem, a city that is a messenger of peace and the cradle of the three great monotheistic religions. Overnight stay.

Day 5: Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Jerusalem.

Breakfast and departure. We visit the Ein Karem neighborhood, where the Church of St. John the Baptist, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist, is located. Then, in Bethlehem, we visit the Church of the Nativity, where the Grotto of the Nativity and the 14-pointed star, marking the site of Jesus’ birth, are located. We will also see the Basilica of St. Catherine and the Grotto of St. Jerome, where he translated the Bible into Latin. In the afternoon, we visit the Shepherds’ Field in Beit Sahour, where the angels announced the birth of Jesus. Return to the hotel. Overnight stay. 

Day 6: Jerusalem - Masada - Dead Sea - Jerusalem.

Breakfast. Departure for the Judean Desert to visit Masada, the last stronghold of the Jews in their fight against the Romans. Ascent by cable car to see the remains of the palace and fortification complex that once stood there. Afterward, free time at the Dead Sea to take a swim at one of its beaches (weather permitting). Return to Jerusalem and overnight stay. 

Day 7: Jerusalem.

Breakfast. Departure for the Old City, beginning with a visit to the Western Wall, a holy site for Judaism. Next, we head towards the Temple Mount, the third holiest site in Islam, with its imposing Dome of the Rock, a symbol of Jerusalem. Following this, we will walk the Via Dolorosa, the path Jesus walked carrying the cross, to Golgotha, the site of his crucifixion, and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, where he was buried and resurrected. We visit Mount Zion, with the Tomb of King David, the Cenacle (site of the Last Supper and Pentecost), and the Dormition Abbey, which commemorates the Assumption of Mary. From the Mount of Olives, we enjoy a panoramic view of the city and, finally, visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Basilica of the Agony, the site of Jesus’ prayer before his arrest. Overnight stay.

Day 8: Jerusalem
